Description

Anomaly Scan / Detailed Anatomy Scan (18–22 weeks)

A comprehensive evaluation of the baby’s organs and physical development.

What we check:

  • Head & Brain: BPD, HC, ventricles, cerebellum, CSP, skull structure
  • Face: Orbits, lips, nose, profile (cleft lip & other features)
  • Spine: Sagittal and transverse views for spina bifida
  • Heart: Four chambers, outflow tracts, aortic/ductal arches, rhythm
  • Abdomen: Stomach, kidneys, bladder, umbilical cord, abdominal circumference
  • Limbs: Femur and humerus length, hands, feet, digits

Others:

  • Placental location
  • Cervical length (TVS if needed)
  • Amniotic fluid volume (AFI or SDP)
  • Fetal gender (on request)
